The Heights Small Business Navigators program seeks to connect neighborhood small businesses to resources and resources to neighborhood small businesses.

About The Program:

The program, established by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, will use a community navigator approach to help small businesses, with a focus on those owned by veterans, women, and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals - including in rural and urban communities. The program comprises a lead “Hub” at the center of a network of “Spoke” organizations that deploy community advocates to work with small businesses during the economic recovery. Recovery services can include financial assistance, access to capital supports, contracting and procurement assistance, marketing, operations, business development, export and import, and industry-specific training, among other areas of technical assistance to aid businesses in stabilization and expansion.

What We Offer:

Small Business Support and Advocacy: The Heights CDC has the opportunity to partner with several organizations that have resources for small businesses. We would love the opportunity to introduce small business owners to those resources.

Small Business Incubation: The Heights CDC currently has commercial properties that are leased to small businesses. We also have connections to help small businesses find physical locations within the community.

Small Business Education: The Heights CDC invites experts to share information with our small businesses through a series of workshops and engagement opportunities.
